Paul Seddon

Paul Seddon studied the violin from the age of ten under Eric Miller and Gwen Hall in Derbyshire, before going on to read Mathematics at university. Like most of the orchestra's players, his professional life is unconnected to music-making - he works as a software consultant in the financial services industry.

After being introduced to Alan Hazeldine in 1993 by cellist Richard Jenkinson, Paul and a small group of like-minded musicians founded the Corinthian Chamber Orchestra with Alan in 1995.

Paul is also a keen chamber music player, and has performed with the Northwood Piano Trio, Briarwood String Quartet, and the Mulberry Piano Trio.

Paul Seddon was leader of the Corinthian Chamber Orchestra from 2002 to 2009.
